A fun day at the Children's Discovery Museum

Tuesday was an action packed day of fun for us! Kekoa and I met Papa Beezy, Auntie Jenny, Kaiwei, and Jordan in San Jose, at the Children's Discovery Museum...a big purple building filled with nothing but excitement! What a great place for little kids! It was so fun to watch Jordan and Kaiwei exploring, with big smiles on their faces! This place is a dream for kids, they can touch everything! Nothing is hands off to them. There is even a couple of special places for kids under 4 years old. Everything is at their height and perfect for little curious minds. Kekoa will definitely love this place when he is a little bit older. He still had a lot of fun, watching the "big kids" and being able to experience so many new sights and sounds.
My favorite part of the day was actually eating lunch. Jordan sat next to me and we shared pretzels and sweet tangerines. He is such a sweet little boy. Kekoa was awake and laughing in his stroller, watching us while we ate. Jordan kept tickling Kekoa's feet, it was so cute!
All 3 boys were pooped at the end of the day. Kaiwei and Jordan slept the whole way home, back to Fremont and then slept 3 more hours! Kekoa was really easy to put to sleep that night. He fell asleep right away and earlier than he normally does!I love this quote...
There was a real Wells Fargo stage coach to play in. Jordan loved going in, lifting the leather flap, and sticking his head out the "window".

There is a street crossing inside. I loved watching my dad and Jordan "crossing the street" together.
Little Kaiwei...
This whole area was for kids 4 and under. There were all kinds of things for the kids to explore here.
Maybe Jordan will be a scientist! There was a low table covered with what looked like sugar. Kids could scoop it up and funnel it into containers. The whole table was surrounded by boys!

Kaiwei had more fun flinging the sugar into the air!
This is a dragon for the kids to climb on. Jordan mastered the dragon. He wouldn't even stand on top when he first tried! What a champ!

Kekoa loves to be read to. Papa Beezy read him a couple of books that he was just entranced with.

This is such a great picture of Kekoa staring in awe at his cousin Jordan.

There was a special exhibit on the children of Hangzou in China. Jordan was so excited to sit on top of this replica of a water buffalo! When Kaiwei saw him up here, he tried to climb the legs to get on top.

This is another area that was for kids 4 and under. It was all water exploration. Even with their snazzy blue plastic suits, the boys were drenched and loving it! Jordan was so interested in how the plastic balls could float on the water spouts. Kaiwei was a busy little beaver, making sure Jordan always had enough plastic balls to work with!

Kekoa is napping in the background! He took 2 power naps in the Ergo. We were all surprised he was able to sleep in such a noisy place!
On our way home...so tired! What a great day, we will definitely come back to this purple building of fun!

It was so amazing to watch Jordan master getting across this dragon. He was so unsure of himself the first time he crawled across and needed my help. With a few tries, he even stood at the top. The first time he made it all by himself, he said "Again", when he reached the end. It was so cute!

teeth?

At Kekoa's 4 month doctor's visit, his pediatrician said he was getting teeth!! She could feel them in the gums and said in the next month or 2 we should see some pearly whites!

Baby Christmas Party...

On Friday, Kekoa and I went to a "Babies First Christmas Party". I just joined a new mom's group and it was so nice that one of the mom's hosted the party. It was adorable to have all these babies in their little holiday outfits. Kekoa took a little nap at the start of the party, but was awake for most of it. He had fun playing with the toys and checking out all the other little people his size! :)Look at Kekoa's face here!

"Hey, I think you're wearing my hat Kekoa!"

How cute are these babies?

Pictures with Santa

Scott and I love where we live. There are so many wonderful things for kids and it is so family friendly. During the holidays, in the park, on Sundays, a really patient and nice Santa is there for the kids to meet. You can get your pictures taken and its free...you just bring your own camera. Kekoa dressed up in his favorite holiday outfit and was just so cute.
