Peaceful Sunday!

It is amazing how each day with Kekoa is just so different. Yesterday was a more difficult Kekoa day...he was hard to get to sleep, took short naps, and had to be in the Moby. This means that mom gets no break!
Today was just the opposite. He took 2 good naps with daddy this morning so I could go out for a run. When I returned, we all headed out to Farmer's Market...just in time for his midmorning nap. I wrapped him up in the Moby and we all walked downtown. Usually Kekoa only sleeps for no more than an hour when we go to the market. Today he not only slept the entire time at the market, but proceeded to sleep for the whole walk home and then another hour at home!! When he woke up in the Moby, I nursed him on the bed and he slept for 2 more hours!! This was his longest nap ever....more than 4 hours!! I was able to chop all the veggies I need to make lentil soup and actually got to make the soup!
You would think with all this sleep he would be hard to put down for sleep at night...but quite the opposite. After playing for about an hour after his marathon nap, we had our bath and he was in bed at 5:45 nursing...asleep by 6:00!
Sweet dreams Kekoa!

Chunky monkey after the bath...check out my rolls!

Kekoa woke up in such a great mood. He was talking so much to his friends on his jungle mat...the most I have ever heard him. Of course, when I pulled the camera out he quieted down some, but you can still hear him babbling and see his legs kicking away!

Kekoa LOVES sucking on his hands...especially in the bath and on his changing table after he gets bathed. It is soooo cute. Today he was sucking so hard, he made a smacking sound, like he
was smacking chewing gum.

Kaiwei loves Kekoa and Jordan loves his apple...

Jordan is such a good boy. He always stays in the kitchen to eat his food, instead of cruising all over our apartment. He saw his Papa Beezy eating an apple and wanted to be just like him. He insisted on having an apple of his own and didn't want me to cut it in pieces....wanted to eat it whole like his Papa!

I'm 11 weeks old!

Our little baby boy is almost 3 months old! We can't believe it. He is so much fun, especially in the mornings when he wakes up. He loves it when his mommy and daddy kiss his cheeks. He also loves music. When his mommy dances or sings for him, Kekoa smiles and laughs. Daddy sings to him too, which he loves and helps him get to sleep.
He is getting smarter everyday. When mommy lays him on his blanket, he knows it is time to nurse and gets so excited. He'll put his hands up to his face and smile excitedly. He also knows that he doesn't have to drink too much from the bottle in the mornings when he is with daddy. Kekoa knows that mommy will be home soon from her run or from the gym...he holds out so he can nurse! We love him more and more with each passing day! I am so grateful that I have this year to stay home with him.So tired mommy...when is bath and bed time?
Aaaaah, napping peacefully...and NOT in the Moby! :)
Chunky, cute feet...
Check out Kekoa's cool new hat that daddy picked out at Baby Gap...
Chunka Munka in the house! :)

We LOVE how Kekoa holds his hands together like this. It is soooo cute!
I'm trying out the preppy style. These are my Polo pj's....with the collar flipped, of course!

3 Musketeers

Papa Beezy, Jordan, and Kaiwei came to visit Kekoa! Jordan and Kaiwei just don't understand why Kekoa can't play with them yet. :)
