Sunny California!

Yesterday was such a beautiful, warm day! Scott had the day off so we headed to Santa Cruz, where it was in the 70's!! As Scott and I joke, "This is why we pay the big buck to live in California." You just can't beat this gorgeous November weather!

It was a magical day on the coast. The Monarch butterflies are in town and were flitting their orange and black wings about everywhere. Here they are clustered together and hanging on the tree branches. They look like orange leaves!
There was also a surf contest going on, The Cold Water Classic. Kekoa was a big hit at the contest, getting oohs and aahs from all kinds of people.

Here is Kekoa in the Bob stroller. It is his first time in the stroller without being in the car seat too! He is no big enough to just be in the stroller all by himself! He is getting so big!

We ended our day in downtown Santa Cruz, at our favorite Greek restaurant, The Greek. The man who owns and cooks there, is Vasili. He is a white bearded Greek man who is so cute. The inside of the restaurant is decorated with all kinds of Greek artwork and pictures of Greek gods, all of it done by Vasili himself. I have a secret crush on Vasili! :) Scott and I went to The Greek all the time when I was pregnant. This was our first time back, since having Kekoa. Vasili "blessed" Kekoa with a kiss and just loved holding him. He is such a sweet man and bought us our lunch, didn't let us pay...wanted us to buy something for Kekoa!

Sleeping with daddy...he is the best at rocking and singing me to sleep. He wouldn't sing for the video though.

Playing on my jungle mat....I love laying here. It is so fun to stare at the butterflies and other animals. The rainforest sounds are really cool. I also love to talk to them...even though they never talk back to me! :)

There are photo opportunities every minute of the day with our little guy! He is getting so strong! Yesterday we started putting him in his little green pod. He was leaning over to one side. Today when I put him in, he was already stronger!

Scott couldn't resist taking pictures of him in this little hat! We are on our way to Farmer's Market on Sunday morning. You can't beat the weather right now...doesn't feel like fall at all! It is so warm. Kekoa fell asleep on the way down to the market, but woke up while we were there. He was the big hit, everyone was oohing and aahing over how cute he is! We definitely think so!

After Farmer's Market, when I brought him out from his room, Scott also couldn't resist taking pictures of him in this little NorCal outfit! He is just too cute.
